This components’ chain begins with the heart of any good electronic device: its power supply. Even if you use big-name processors, converters (ADC/DAC), and reference transistors for analog signals, if these components are powered by a weak signal that fluctuates due to the bass, or even worse, if they are subject to electrical noise generated by other devices in the car due to a poorly designed power supply, the result will be quite simply... BAD! To avoid these problems, the power supply of our DMH-WT5000NEX and DMH-WT6000NEX integrates a bank of capacitors with a total of 28,700uF; this is unheard of for this type of product, which normally offers a typical 4,700uF. This capacitor bank is even bigger than the one used in many power amplifiers currently offered on the market!
To offer you LIFELIKE MUSIC PERFORMANCE, we have, of course, carefully selected high-quality electronic components such as a duo of processors (the brain of the machine) displaying a main 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex processor paired with a 32-bit dual-core coprocessor.
Although these processors are more than capable of performing good audio processing in addition to the other tasks required to manage the in-dash receiver, such as its user interface and video management, we have opted for a better design by integrating a dedicated 48-bit audio DSP used not only exclusively by Pioneer but also designed by us to better control the audio chain and thus avoid any internal noise in the chip, which could, as an example, be induced by video processing on the audio if this processing were carried out within this same processor. THIS PIONEER DSP DOES ONLY ONE THING AND NOTHING ELSE; AUDIO PROCESSING!
To complete this audio chain housed at the heart of our receiver, we use a very high quality pre-amplification circuit (your RCA outputs) offering you a REAL AND TESTED DISTORTION-FREE SIGNAL that is higher than 5 volts and displaying, among other things, specifications for the circuit itself of an INSANELY LOW 0.0008THD.

This is exactly what we've done with the DMH-WT6000NEX and DMH-WT5000NEX. In addition to all the possible benefits of the new design, we also spent long-time refining and optimizing our Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless communication. Even though we had a power supply that surpassed all our previous design standards, we added an additional post-regulation and filtration for the power supply section required from the wireless circuitry. We've also optimized wireless communication signal management to a level never before seen in our in-dash receivers. This performance is so exceptional that we now boast a sensitivity (RF signal-to-noise ratio) 4X HIGHER THAN THE AVERAGE RESULTS FROM OUR COMPETITORS. This stronger, but more importantly, more stable wireless signal allows us to avoid miscommunications with your wireless streaming source, thereby minimizing software corrections and extrapolations that can alter the transmitted information. OUR GOAL IS TO BE FAITHFUL TO THE SOURCE!
