Pioneer GM-DX874 4-Channel Car Amplifier
The Pioneer GM-DX874 four-channel amplifier delivers 100 watts RMS at 4 ohms to each of your front and rear speakers for powerful music. CTA-2006 compliant, this highly efficient Class D technology provides impressive, high-quality power in a compact chassis. The frequency response extends up to 50,000 Hz, supporting crystal-clear Hi-Res Audio Certified playback. The GM-DX874 uses high-grade electronic components and gold-plated RCA connections to ensure maximum performance.
You can configure your amplifier into 3-channel mode (4 ohm loads) to create a strong front soundstage (2x 75 watts RMS) with tight bass from the bridged subwoofer (1x 300 watts RMS). The speaker-level inputs allow you to install this amp in a factory system without RCA connections. Built-in high-pass and low-pass filters let you optimize the sound for your vehicle's interior. A wired bass control remote also lets you easily control the amount of bass from the subwoofer output (SW).
Turn Up the Bass
This amplifier features a wired bass control remote for optimal bass level adjustment according to your listening preferences and the characteristics of the music.
Big Power-Small Size
Pioneerâs extra-efficient Class-D amplifiers mark a dramatic improvement in power output capability, yet are 50% smaller than the current GM-Series Class-AB amplifiers. That makes them more versatile in terms of installation as well as performance.
Packs a Punch
The 4-channel amplifier is rated at a total of 1200 watts, with the A and B channels rated at 150 watts x 4 (RMS) at 2 ohms, or 300 watts (RMS) at 4 ohms x 2 when bridged. Compared to similarly priced multi-channel amplifiers, the variable crossover networks on the GM-DX874 offer increased flexibility and give listeners more control. This amplifier also features angled terminals for a cleaner installation and direct wire contact to maximize power transfer.
Automatic Signal sensing and Turn-On
When used with an audio source such as an OEM source or a receiver without RCA output, the amplifier will activate as soon as an audio source is detected through the speaker level outputs. When using a pre-amplified source (RCA), this Pioneer amplifier will use the signal (+12Vdc) from the "Remote" input for activation.
High-Quality Affordable Design
To prevent poor bass performance in demanding situations, such as heavy bass content or dynamic range music, Pioneer designed a high-quality power supply to sustain constant power requirements. This design enhances audio performance by providing a better signal-to-noise ratio, improved audio dynamics, sustained bass when needed, and, most importantly, a more enjoyable ride in your car!
Hi-Res Certified
An optimal printed circuit board design reduces signal interference, improves channel separation, and provides better dynamics and lower distortion. Audio film capacitors and a low-impedance coil for the output filter are used to ensure excellent sound quality. Audio tuning based on the reproduction of the original audio source allows listeners to experience the difference in sound quality. With sound data that exceeds the volume of CD sound information, this amplifier reproduces outstanding audio quality from high-resolution audio sources, offering incredibly lifelike sound.
Gold Plated Terminals
These terminals provide the ability to maintain an accurate signal with increased electrical conductivity, prevent corrosion and provide enhanced durability with excellent resistance against wear.
Pioneerâs TVC (Total Vibration Control)
Pioneer's TVC (Total Vibration Control) concept used in this amplifier not only increases the rigidity of the unit but also counteracts vibrations that affect sound quality at various points. The fixing points of the main board are optimized to completely suppress external vibrations and small vibrations caused by circuit parts. It adopts a heat sink structure that optimizes the position of large components, mounting screws, heat dissipation, and mechanical vibration suppression.
Protection Control System (PCS)
Pioneerâs PCS continuously monitors the input voltage, current consumption, and operating temperature to automatically adjust the amplifierâs output, ensuring operational stability during long listening sessions or when installed in high-temperature environments.
Independent Variable Filters
The amplifier features a variable high-pass filter (HPF) and a variable low-pass filter (LPF) ranging from 40 Hz to 500 Hz to precisely adjust the audio bandwidth and optimize the acoustic performance of your speakers and/or subwoofer. Additionally, to give you even more control, these filters are completely independent for channel "A," channel "B," and the subwoofer output (SW).
