FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What receivers qualify for trade-in?
Car receivers originally sold by U.S. retailers or distributors are eligible for trade-in, including Pioneer and other major brands. Factory/OEM units are not eligible.
Your receiver must have an FCC ID and be certified for use in the U.S. Only end-user consumers (not resellers) are eligible. You must be the owner, and the receiver must not be counterfeit or stolen.
How do I send in my receiver?
Trade-ins are accepted by shipping only. Apply online to receive a shipping label and instructions.
It must be shipped within the time period specified in your application instructions. Only the receiver should be shipped—do not include accessories or other items
How long does it take to get my coupon?
Coupons are issued after your receiver is confirmed eligible. Allow 10-14 days from receipt.
What if my receiver isn’t eligible?
If your receiver doesn’t qualify, no coupon will be issued and the item will not be returned.
Are there any costs for shipping?
No, UPS shipping is free.
Who can participate?
The program is for end-user consumers only; resellers are not eligible.
Can I combine my coupon with other offers?
No. The trade-in coupon cannot be combined with any other coupons, discounts, or promotional offers. It is valid only for a single purchase of $500 or more at the Pioneer Store.
What discount do I receive?
The coupon amount depends on the type of receiver you trade in. Receivers with a monitor qualify for $100 off purchases of $500 or more. Receivers without a monitor qualify for $75 off purchases of $500 or more.
Anything else I should know?
You must be the owner of the receiver and responsible for any outstanding payments if the receiver was purchased under a financing plan. By sending in your receiver, you agree to transfer ownership to Pioneer and disclaim any further rights to the device.
