The AVH-2500NEX is a 7” multimedia DVD receiver. The display is a double-DIN WVGA clear resistive touchscreen unit. This DVD receiver offers features like, Apple CarPlay®, Android™ Auto, Built-in Bluetooth®, Amazon Alexa, built-in HD Radio™, Pandora®, Spotify®, Pioneer Weblink, siris eyes free & Google voice recognition, back-up camera ready, and much more. The built-in Bluetooth® feature allows users to utilize their smartphone device for an array of possibilities. One of which is navigation through Android™ Auto or Apple CarPlay®. Additional navigation can be utilized using Pioneer AppRadio Mode. This receiver has CD and DVD read/write playback. MP3, WMA, AAC, MP4 and FLAC playback is via USB, and has an AM/FM tuner. The graphic equalizer has 13-bands with selectable tone curves, and an advanced sound retriever. It accommodates a 3.5 rear audio-visual auxiliary input, a rear USB input and three (3) sest of preamp output (front, rear, and subwoofer). The AVH-2500NEX is SiriusXM Satellite Ready (with a subscription and sold separately), Steering Wheel Control ready if using Axxess ASWC-1 which is also sold separately, and Back-up Camera Ready using the 3.5 ready audio-visual auxiliary input.

Auto Time Alignment and Auto EQ
Time alignment automatically estimates the delay from each speaker to the driver’s position and adjusts speaker sound output timing, so that sound from all speakers reaches the driver’s ears in perfect sync. Auto EQ tailors specific musical characteristics according to preference, using a microphone to monitor and analyze acoustics, then automatically fine-tunes all frequency bandwidths and front and rear speaker digital parametric equalization. These processes occur in 399 seamless steps in just under 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
Time alignment
This feature allows for delay time and synchronizing from each speaker to be adjusted to correct any phase mismatches in the sound resulting from the listening position. No need for any acoustics degree to do the job, simply measure the distance between your listening position and the speakers, then enter these measurements into the Pioneer receiver.
USB
This receiver is ready to roll with direct connectivity to your iPhone* for music and video via USB. Song, artist, time and album information are beautifully displayed on the touchscreen. The system's wired USB connection provides direct digital signal transfer from the device for clean, clear sound while providing 1.5 amp of current to keep your iPod/iPhone charged. *Requires iPhone 5 device or newer. Compatibility with unit and operations may vary depending on iOS version.
